Privacy policy

This site collects as little as it can, sets no cookies and does not follow you across the web. This page explains what we collect, why, for how long, and what your rights are under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

Who is responsible

DMIC Solution Engineering (trading as DMIC Lab) is the data controller for dmiclab.com. For anything about your personal data, contact dmic.seng@gmail.com.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, organisation, email, the topic you choose and the message you write. It is stored in the company's own systems and the team is emailed so we can reply. No IP address is kept with the message. If the inbox is briefly unavailable, a fallback button opens your own email program with the message filled in instead.

Anonymous visit statistics: pages opened, time on page, how far you scrolled, links clicked, device type and screen size, browser language, time zone, the site that referred you, and page load speed. None of this contains a name, an email or anything that identifies you.

What we do not do: no cookies, no persistent tracking id (the visit id is random and expires when the tab closes), no storage of your IP address (the server turns it into a one-way value that changes daily and is used only to count visitors), and we honour the browser's Global Privacy Control signal.

Why, and on what legal basis

Contact-form data is used to reply, understand your problem and send a proposal or quotation you asked for. The legal basis is that processing is necessary to act on your request before entering a contract (Section 24(3)).

Visit statistics are used to see which content is useful, how fast the site is, and to separate automated traffic from real readers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Section 24(5)); the impact on you is minimal because the data is anonymous.

We do not sell data, do not use it for tracking-based advertising, and make no automated decisions about you.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept while we are in touch and deleted automatically 2 years after the last contact. If you become a customer, your name and contact details move to our customer register, and contract-related records are kept as accounting and tax law requires.

Event-level visit statistics are kept for up to 13 months; after that only aggregate figures remain, which cannot be traced back to any single visit.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and therefore sees IP addresses as part of normal network security · our email providers (Google Workspace, and Amazon SES for automatic emails) carry the notification of a new message to the team · contact messages and visit statistics are stored in the company's own systems. These providers may process data on servers outside Thailand under internationally recognised safeguards. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You may ask to access, copy, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, ask for it to be transferred, and lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee. Send requests to dmic.seng@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.

Visit statistics are anonymous, so we cannot find or delete any one person's records. If you prefer not to be counted at all, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use data, we will update this page and the date above. Changes that materially affect your rights will be announced on the site.
